Steven Conway joins Keystone Law’s Dispute Resolution team.

Steven is an insurance litigation lawyer who specialises in general insurance work, in particular employers’ and public liability claims, acting predominantly in the defence of local authorities, public authorities and insurers. He joins Keystone from Browne Jacobson, where he has been an Insurance and Public Risk Partner for nine years, after practicing at Barlow Lyde & Gilbert and Berrymans Lace Mawer.

Consistently recognised by the Legal 500, Steven works mainly for the London Boroughs, claims handlers and insurers. He is also currently working alongside the Department for Transport on their review of ‘Well-maintained Highways’, the Code of Practice for Highway Maintenance Management. A true expert in his field.

Steven’s arrival at Keystone further bolsters Keystone’s exceptionally strong capabilities in resolving disputes within the insurance industry – a sector in which there have been several recent new hires. As an all partner level team, Keystone’s experts provide a superior level of service and experience, seamlessly meeting client needs. Now totalling more than 40 experienced litigators, the Dispute Resolution team is well-placed to handle complex and large scale cases.

Steven comments on his arrival at Keystone:

“I am delighted to be able to join a firm where I can continue to focus on providing a London-based service to my clients. Keystone suits my needs perfectly. I am truly excited to join such a progressive and innovative firm.”

Managing Director, James Knight, adds:

“Our senior litigation team is now one of the largest in London and the insurance offering within this team has developed significantly over the past 6 months. Steven’s arrival represents another tremendous boost to that growth.”
