Alison is a competition lawyer and advises on compliance with competition law, predominantly in the maritime sector. She has acted in infringement cases involving anti-competitive agreements, cartels and abuse of dominance, including an appeal to the European Court of First Instance (now the General Court), as well as advising on merger control and state aid issues.
During her career Alison has co-ordinated and drafted responses to European and national competition policy consultations, and designed and delivered client competition compliance and dawn raid training and professional development courses for practising lawyers. She has significant experience in working with cross-border teams, and extensive legal knowhow and professional support skills.
Alison has published articles on a wide range of EU and competition law issues and established a Brexit online portal for an international law firm.
