Keystone Corporate lawyer, Barry Maytum, has advised Oxford Capital and Draper Esprit, on a major healthcare sector investment deal.

Oxford Capital and Draper Esprit jointly led the $8.2 million investment in PushDoctor.co.uk, Europe’s largest online GP marketplace. Keystone assisted both businesses on the legal terms of their investment into the company.

PushDoctor.co.uk has sought to revolutionise the way everyone accesses healthcare using an on-demand, online GP surgery – making healthcare accessible for millions of UK residents who find seeing a doctor difficult. The platform enables patients to connect to a qualified, General Medical Council registered private GPs in minutes, giving access to professional medical advice from a UK doctor who can prescribe, refer or provide a sick note.

The business plans to use the investment to strengthen its position as a market leader, capitalising on iits innovations and developing the business’s team further.

As part of the deal, Tom Bradley, Oxford Capital’s Managing Director of growth capital and Draper Esprit partner, Vishal Gulati, will join the PushDoctor.co.uk board, as Non-Executive Directors.
