Keystone Law’s Martin Goodall is teaming up with Bath Publishing to present a second seminar and book launch on permitted changes of use.
A number of changes were made to the GPDO between 2013 and 2015 – to permit new changes of use. It was then completely revised in 2015 to consolidate these changes. April 2016 brought further revisions, to this complex area of law, and since then a steady stream of planning decisions has both cemented and evolved the practical application of the statutory rules.
Following on from his sell-out book launch and seminar last year, Author of A Practical Guide to Permitted Changes of Use and Planning solicitor at Keystone Law, Martin Goodall has published a new up-to-date version of his book which is an instrumental source of information for those involved in residential conversions or other changes of use in property. With that in mind, Keystone Law has teamed up with Bath Publishing to host a launch of the revised guide and an accompanying topical seminar.
Aimed at architects, town planners, surveyors and valuers, legal professionals, builders, developers and general property owners – the book advises on the operation of all aspects of the prior approval procedure. It also covers other changes of use permitted by the GPDO, including flexible and temporary uses.
Key speakers on the day will include a number of planning experts from across the disciplines, including Martin Goodall himself, fellow Keystone Law Planning Solicitor, Ben Garbett, Boisot Waters Cohen Partnership Principal, Brain Waters and Child Graddon Lewis Director, Arita Morris.
The event will take place on Friday the 18th November at the stunning Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), 66 Portland Place, London, W1B 1AD.
Registration will take place at 09:30 and the event run from 10:00-13:00.
