For the second year running, national firm Keystone Law has been named as one of just 25 law firms to be featured in the Best Legal Advisers report, by industry publication Legal Week.

The firm garnered the highest satisfaction levels, out of all the firms featured, for fees and billing, due to it allowing lawyers to agree fixed fees and other bespoke arrangements at their own discretion, in addition to being one of the early adopters of real-time recording.

In addition, Keystone received category-leading satisfaction scores across a number of other areas, achieving a total, combined average score of 4.7 out of 5.

In particular, Keystone was highlighted for:

  • Quality of legal advice
  • Service delivery
  • Communication
  • Responsiveness

The Best Legal Advisers annual report derives from a client satisfaction survey which examines the service delivery of thousands of the UK’s law firms. Research is collated by analysing the views of more than 800 global general counsel, senior in-house counsel and others responsible for commissioning legal services.

Other firms included in the report this year include Clifford Chance, DLA Piper, Allen & Overy, Clyde & Co, DAC Beachcroft, Pinsent Masons and Kennedys.

The report described clients as citing Keystone as a “superb firm to deal with in all aspects with no standout negatives.”

It also reports that clients enjoy the level of “personal contact” and being “able to speak to legal reps quickly” before adding they also like the firm’s “network of people and their depth of experience”.

Commenting on the results, Keystone CEO and founder James Knight, said:

“We are both delighted and proud with these results which pay testament to our ongoing commitment to an exceptionally high standard of client service. Our entire model is predicated on innovation, and we are constantly looking to enhance our service delivery. Our tech-driven platform enables lawyers to operate from any location, as easily and efficiently as in the traditional office. The absence of unnecessary dead time ultimately helps us to provide a greater level of value to the client.”

He added:

“Our principal aim is to ensure our clients’ success, achieving that through stellar lawyers, hard work and a combination of commerciality and forward thinking. To receive such strong recognition for this approach is nothing short of brilliant.”
